1. It’s your karma (destiny) to suffer!
2. Your suffering is God’s punishment.
3. God is testing your faith by allowing you to be sick.
4. That’s your cross!
5. You need a religion to get to God.
These are all big lies. Unfortunately many buy these lies thus conforming themselves to the situation. If I belive that my suffering is inflicted by God or that it’s His will that I suffer, how will I fight for a change? If Jesus bore a cross for me then why must I bear it again? How can God as a Father cause His children to be sick? On the contrary, when a child is sick, the father wishes he could take the pain of his child away even if that means he had to set it upon himself! Last but not least, you don’t need the label of a religion to get to God. When one prays in the name of Jesus one stands in God’s Presence and once there no middleman is needed – no pastor, no rabbi, to priest, no reverend , no one… It’s just the person and God, God and the person. thinkFORyourself!
Im glad this works for you (I mean, I hope it is) but Religion works for me. It brings me closer to others who are getting closer to God. That’s the point. It’s a guide. Thanks for this post; I respect your opinion. I pray that you will get closer to God religion or not.
